Company Name: Seattle City Light Situational Analysis:
Project Name: “Shrinking Bigfoot” Seattle City Light (SCL), Seattle's municipal electric utility serves nearly a million customers. Throughout SCL's public power history its focus has been on serving our citizen owners, including future citizen-owners - children - through educational programs. Hydropower is the source for nearly 90% of Seattle's electricity. Because climate change threatens the watersheds and the glaciers feeding its hydropower reservoirs, SCL seeks to educate students about their energy choices.
Key Achievement(s): ▪ Penetration rate of students learning key messages equals 45%

▪ Shrinking Bigfoot performance was presented to the United Nations Secretary General on recommendation after viewing the video.

▪ 80% of teachers rated the program effective
