The Communication and Customer Service (C&CS) mission is to ensure that 9.2 million uniformed services, retirees and their families are educated about their TRICARE benefits.
The organizational communications team at C&CS is comprised of Web services, public affairs, publications, customer service and research and analysis. Fiscal Year 2008 was a watershed year as C&CS initiated and successfully incorporated a full range of the latest communication techniques: Blogs, videos, Web sites, social awareness campaigns, podcasts
and social media.
Together with our developing and strengthening contract, association, defense
department and government partners, C&CS rocketed to a new level of
communications.
