As director of the Communication and Customer Service (C&CS) directorate, Ms. S. Dian Lawhon leads the way in ensuring that 9.2 million uniformed services, retirees and their families are educated about their TRICARE
benefits.
The communications team at C&CS is comprised of Web services, public affairs,
publications, customer service and special projects/research and analysis.
Under the direction of Dian Lawhon, 2008 was a watershed year as C&CS and its contract, defense and government partners rocketed to a new level of communications that impact beneficiaries where they live, work, and play through Internet tools such as blogs, videos, profile-driven Web sites, social awareness campaigns, podcasts, e-alerts, widgets and social media. |
