In spring of 2008, Omni Hotels tasked Weber Shandwick with gaining additional
media attention to drive buzz around its Kids' Sensory Suites in Texas and
California, originally launched in May of 2007.
The vibrant guestrooms were designed to provide the comforts of home and
stimulate the senses of young travelers. The suites featured twin beds with
colorful bedding, beanbag chairs and an art table. The rooms were also stocked
with board games, books, cozy bath robes, aquatic-themed bath accessories and a
complimentary Kids' Sensation Bar filled with toys, trinkets and snacks.
