The U.S. Army has faced a challenging recruiting environment over the last few years, so they enlisted Weber Shandwick
to develop a media relations campaign promoting an unexpected view of Army
service that would draw interest from a young adult audience.
The campaign, which generated more than 30 million media impressions, focused
on the 10 Army athletes competing in the 2008 Summer Olympics and helped
illuminate an interesting and unexpected career opportunity in the Army. |
